This 2018 Ford Transit 2.2T Luxury Long Wheelbase Mid-Roof 10-Seater (National VI Emission Standard) was first registered in January 2018. Due to legal restrictions preventing unregistered vehicles from high-speed driving on public roads in China, most of our dynamic tests are conducted in a closed area (with a maximum speed of around 60 km/h). This is sufficient to test for suspension noise and low gear smoothness, but it cannot simulate high-speed wind noise and tire balance vibrations at 120 km/h.
It does not affect basic driving and regular speed cruise, but it will trigger a fault alert for advanced driver assistance on the dashboard. The LiDAR assembly is extremely expensive, so we focus on checking the integrity of the glass cover with a strong flashlight during inspections.
It's extremely difficult. The security level of Chinese brand immobilizers is very high, and you must connect a specialized factory computer to the vehicle's OBD and be online with the domestic server to match it. Losing all keys usually means you need to replace the entire lock cylinder and anti-theft control module while overseas.
