I bought a brand new Audi A5L Plus, registered in October 2025, for just over 290,000 RMB. It had 2,000 kilometers on the odometer, original paint, L2 driver assistance, full-speed adaptive cruise control, keyless start, matrix headlights, panoramic sunroof, paddle shifters, wireless charging, electric memory seats with heating, ambient lighting, and a wealth of features.
Due to legal restrictions preventing unregistered vehicles from high-speed driving on public roads in China, most of our dynamic tests are conducted in a closed area (with a maximum speed of around 60 km/h). This is sufficient to test for suspension noise and low gear smoothness, but it cannot simulate high-speed wind noise and tire balance vibrations at 120 km/h.
Extremely authoritative. The third-party data service providers we connect to legally access the Chinese Public Security Traffic Management Platform, the insurance claims network directly under the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, and the after-sales databases of major automotive manufacturers. We perform secondary logical verification based on this underlying data.
We will remove the chassis guard to physically inspect the battery pack's lower shell for serious dents or scratches, and check for signs of mud or sand intrusion in the waterproof vent at the edge of the battery pack.
