The customs of the destination country has the right to disregard the commercial invoice and reassess the value based on its internal database (such as the customs valuation red book). RoRo ships usually charge based on the vehicle's volume (length x width x height, calculated in CBM) in tiers; container shipping has a fixed compartment price. We will calculate which method is the most economical for the current sailing.

If the inspection is conducted by a third party appointed by us, we will be the primary responsible party and provide limited compensation to you, after which we will seek reimbursement from the inspection agency; if the inspection agency is designated by you personally (such as SGS), you will need to file a claim directly with that agency according to its service terms.
