In May 2016, the official range of the BYD E6 was 400 kilometers, with an actual range of 60,000 kilometers. It was a one-owner vehicle with all original paint and components. The BYD three-electric system has an 8-year/150,000-kilometer warranty and a lifetime warranty on the battery cells.
Supply and demand determine prices. In the Chinese market, mainstream colors like black and white have much higher resale values and market circulation speeds compared to less popular colors (like pink or bright green). Therefore, there is a price difference of thousands of RMB for specific colors at the procurement level.
We use a calibrated high-precision paint thickness gauge to take multiple measurements on at least 13 metal surfaces of the entire vehicle. The original paint thickness of mainstream Chinese models typically ranges from 90μm to 150μm. If any area exceeds 200μm or even reaches over 500μm, we will directly conclude that the area has undergone bodywork and filler repair.
Chinese standard electric vehicles use the national standard (GB/T) charging interface. If your country uses the European standard (CCS2), American standard (CCS1), or Japanese standard (CHAdeMO), the vehicle cannot be plugged directly into local charging stations. To address this issue, we will recommend or provide high-quality certified adapters (Adapter) with CE/UL safety certification.
