Accident inspection: main structure undamaged, reinforcing components undamaged, cover panels undamaged, hinges normal. Three-electric system inspection: power battery under-tray shield has disassembly marks. Engine bay inspection: key mechanical components inside engine bay normal. Exterior: 1 repainted area. Interior: most features normal, airbag inspection normal, seatbelts normal, dashboard normal, instrument inspection normal, lighting system normal. Startup inspection: OBD shows other fault codes. Onboard tools: none.
The inspection report only represents the physical condition of the vehicle at the moment the inspection was completed (down to the minute). Once the vehicle begins long-distance inland towing or international shipping, the report no longer guarantees the future condition due to drastic environmental changes.
During the stationary steering test, the technician will check the smoothness of the steering wheel from full left to full right, looking for any unusual noises from the steering gear; they will also inspect the hydraulic power steering pump (if present) and the seals of the steering column for any hydraulic fluid leakage.
We will check if the vehicle identification number (VIN) is within the official recall batch. If there are any outstanding safety recalls (such as replacing Takata airbags), we will require the original owner to assist in sending it to an official 4S shop to complete the free recall work before the vehicle is deregistered.
