I acquired a Tourneo converted into a pop-top campervan, registered in May 2018. It has all the necessary RV paperwork and no scrapping deadline. It features a 6-speed automatic transmission, a 2.0T gasoline engine, and fully equipped pop-top bunk beds. The odometer reads 60,000 kilometers and the original paint is in its original condition. The technician will put the vehicle in neutral on the lift, rotate the wheels, and listen for any abnormal metal gear whine from inside the motor reducer, and check for gear oil leaks at the joints of the reducer housing.
All vehicles on the lift must be inspected. We will provide high-definition close-up photos of the chassis directly below, suspension components, and the mid to rear section of the exhaust. We will honestly show any minor surface rust (a common phenomenon in cast iron); if we find bent longitudinal beams or extensive through-corrosion, the vehicle will be scrapped and not exported.
