The headliner is considered an "irreversible interior component." If the edges are delaminated or there are deep, hard-to-clean dark water stains, it will directly lead to a downgrade in the interior grade, even if it does not affect driving. Unfortunately, cross-border used cars are not covered by the manufacturer's free recall. Basic perception functions (like Adaptive Cruise Control ACC, Lane Keeping Assist LKA, and Automatic Emergency Braking AEB) rely on the vehicle's local radar and cameras, and can operate normally overseas. However, advanced features that heavily depend on high-precision maps and cloud data (like Navigation on Autopilot NOA and Full Self-Driving FSD) cannot be activated overseas.
