I recently acquired a 2012 Volkswagen Multivan 2.0TSI 4WD Premium Edition, registered in 2013. The odometer reads just over 85,000 kilometers. It has been regularly and properly maintained, has a robust chassis, and the owner has clearly taken excellent care of it. The interior shows virtually no wear. All paperwork is complete, and the transfer of ownership will be handled by the owner. Grab it while you can!
It usually refers to very small stone chips on the hood from high-speed driving, nail scratches on the inside of door handles, slight curb scratches on the edges of wheels, and minor wear on interior plastic parts. These do not affect the vehicle's functionality or corrosion resistance.
The technician will check the production date codes and brand logos in the lower left corner of all the car's glass (including the windshield, four doors, and rear window) to see if they match the vehicle's factory date on the nameplate. If any glass is found to have a date later than the vehicle's production date, it will be recorded as evidence of a "previous damage replacement."
Our foreign versions of the report standardize terminology and include illustrations. For example, instead of just writing "control arm failure," we specify "Lower Control Arm Bushing Torn" to help your local technicians identify the issue directly.
