Vehicle has major accident/fire/flood damage or major defects in power battery components (structural/ reinforcement/ outer panels), repaired or unrepaired, still affecting body structural integrity or safe use, with hidden fault risks.
Accident inspection: main structure damaged, reinforcement parts undamaged, outer panels damaged, hinges normal. Engine bay: valve cover gasket oil leak. Exterior: 7 body repairs (panel beating), 2 paint jobs. Interior: left A-pillar trim damaged, headliner sagging; most features normal, airbags normal, lighting system normal. Startup check: main components normal. No tool kit.
Under international practices and our standard CIF/FOB terms, the THC at the port of origin (China) is borne by the seller; all THC and port miscellaneous charges incurred at the destination port during unloading are to be paid by the buyer (consignee) upon local customs clearance and pickup.
1) Verify the company: business license, export track record, and a live video call where they show the actual car and its VIN. 2) Hire an independent pre-shipment inspection. 3) Sign a contract stating the VIN, specs, price, Incoterm, and refund conditions. 4) Pay a 20–30% deposit by bank transfer only after the contract is signed — never the full amount, and never to a personal account. 5) After the inspection passes, pay the balance against a copy of the bill of lading. 6) Track the shipment and prepare import documents. 7) Inspect the car on arrival before releasing any final documents. Each step is a checkpoint. Don't let the seller rush you past one.
Due to legal restrictions preventing unregistered vehicles from high-speed driving on public roads in China, most of our dynamic tests are conducted in a closed area (with a maximum speed of around 60 km/h). This is sufficient to test for suspension noise and low gear smoothness, but it cannot simulate high-speed wind noise and tire balance vibrations at 120 km/h.
